Madeira Beach Guide

"Mad" Beach has long been a favorite Gulf Coast destination for the Tampa Bay area. Want to go shopping, dining, boating? This is the place.
"Mad" Beach is, perhaps, best known for: Johns Pass Village, a center for shopping, dining and boat/water-related activities.
"The Pass" as it is called, boasts an impressive 1,100 feet Boardwalk along the deep-water passage between the Gulf of Mexico and Intercoastal Waterways.
Johns Pass Village offers a wide range of shopping choices, from arts to antiques… from clothing to sporting gear. And, walking along the Boardwalk, you will be sure to pelicans and other large sea birds. By the way, be sure to watch your ice cream cone while walking on the boardwalk, as local pelicans are skilled in stealing ice cream right out of the cone!
Dining choices at "The Pass" range from fine dining to casual dining ( casual dining includes waterfront, doggie-welcome dining, too!).
A wide range of boating activities are available at "The Pass". Choices include a pirate cruise (for kids of all ages), parasailing, deep-sea fishing, dolphin watch cruises, shelling cruises, casino cruise (in season), ‘Adrenalin’ cruising, and more. And for those who like to pilot their own craft, boat rentals and personal watercraft may be rented during daylight hours.
And, just a word for boat owners new to the area, fuels, snacks and assistance are available right in "The Pass" itself.
