In the process of doing the gardens at the Inn we have discovered that the Indians were here before us. We never know what we will find that connects us back to a time and place where the Indians had the chance to choose the perfect spot to be. Of course one of the apartments had to be the Indian.

Jim is a Charter Captain and his first Tarpon is located in this apartment. We were in Boca Grande, FL at 3:00 am when it was caught on the boat of one of our guests who had stayed with us for many years in the "Lighthouse". The coconut palm in front of this apartment was raised from a coconut given to us by Dr. Sheppard from Boca Grande. Whitewashed cedar and a fish theme make this apartment especially wonderful with just a walk out the front door to the beach or the swing!

In every home that my grandparents lived, they always had a Starlight. We are carrying on this tradition with the Starlight over the bed and purchased on our 27th wedding anniversary in New Orleans. This has been known to give magical powers, so anyone in this apartment is destined to have a wonderful time! The Starlight has a connecting door to the Lighthouse, so you can rent the whole upstairs. The panoramic view from the bedroom is a great way to wake-up and know that you will be enjoying the best that the beach has to offer! Romantic!

In the beginning Colonial Court Inn was a single-family home with Chet and Martha Foster being the owners. This apartment is the original home hence the "Heart". They have left us with many memories of their time here - paintings, shell collections, fossils and pavers with the names of guests that have stayed at Colonial Court Inn through the years. They used to call Colonial Court "Your Foster Home". We are fortunate to have guests that stayed with the Fosters and are now staying with us.

This apartment shows how many ways you can display hearts and the artwork of my Grandfather, C.C. Beall. An entry through the courtyard and an exit directly on the beach make the "Heart" a special place to be!

This apartment is the largest of all and on the 2nd floor which is as tall as we go. Colors take the stage with every room being different colors of the sunset. God does create a beautiful palette. We love to travel and collect lighthouses from around the Country and our guests have also added to the collection with one even doing a needlepoint of a Lighthouse. The view from the Lighthouse is spectacular with every day being different - you can't miss the sunsets!
