Florida Gulf Coast beachfront rentals at sun n Fun beach house from the summer of 1925. Enjoy old Florida. Gulf of Mexico and private white sand beach is right out your door. Wade out to the shallow sand bar to explore for shells and sand dollars. Or walk across the street to watch the yachts go by and fish in the bay. Old Timers call this part of the island "The Narrows" where the sand is just wide enough for a single row of homes.

Historically, the most beautiful spot on the tropical barrier islands of Tampa Bay between Clearwater and St Pete. The large home and carriage house are now converted into 6 Gulf front suites featuring full kitchens, pillow top beds, and fantastic views. Awarded one of the highest scores on the beach by Superior Small Lodging. Kids love an old place surrounded by water. We are small and personable.

Apt #6 is roomy 2 bdrm + sleeping porch, 2 bath and sleeps 8. Apt #4 is romantic 1 bdrm upstairs with French doors and 9 windows overlooking the Gulf.

Sun n Fun Unit #6 - Capacity 8

This is the owners suite. Very nice. With 2 bedrooms and trundle beds on the sleeping porch it can accommodate up to 8. Sometimes we get two families with the kids sharing the porch. Walk out on the private deck and you are right on the beach with the Bar-BQ and large gazebo and teakwood rocking chairs. Cook in the large kitchen outfitted with the finest pots and pans, blender for daiquiris and margaritas, and extra large refrigerator and pantry for extended stays. Large master bedroom with king size bed overlooking the Gulf, rattan furniture for that Florida look, big TV and large oak pedestal dining table seats 6 with extra kids eating on the porch. The sleeping porch overlooking the beach doubles as breakfast area for those who get up early to go beach combing for shells. My Grandparents took good care of the place. Guests compliment us on the warm glow of antique 100 year old red heart pine floors that have weathered many a hurricane in 79 years. The brick fireplace in the living room adds a touch of nostalgia.

You can't get any closer to the beach in this ground floor studio apartment. Lie in bed and watch the palms sway in the breeze and the emerald green waves on the Gulf. Walkout your door and you are steps from the water. We've decorated in a beachy theme with sea shells lamps, art by local talent, and a Tarpon fish mounted on the wall. All the comforts of home with a full kitchen, Natuzui Italian leather couch, and dining for two by the beach side window. This is the secluded side of the house with an entrance all your own.

Lie in bed in the morning and watch the sand pipers and the beach combers. Dine in the evening at the table for two and enjoy the most beautiful red sunsets into the ocean. Our guest book is full of rave reviews. This is the best of Old Florida.

This is a small beachfront studio apartment that has views down the beach. It is on the second floor and has a deck that you can sit out on and enjoy the cool sea breezes and read a book. Guests like the private stairs down to the beach. With one of the finest queen sized pillow top beds and a nice comforter this is just the place for a couple to get away.

Real value for the money. Enjoy the view of the Gulf and the Bay from our 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor of the carriage house. Its located 100’ back from the beach on the courtyard. Enjoy the views of the water all around you from the many windows or sit out on the balcony from the master bedroom and watch the yachts go up and down the intracoastal waterway. This is our second largest unit and since it is not right on the beach we have priced it affordably. Queen size pillow top bed and two twin beds are ideal for an enjoyable family vacation on the beach.

This one bedroom suite was completely renovated in 2003. It features Travertine floors and marble urns by the bedroom fireplace. It is located on the first floor of the carriage house 100’ back from the beach on the courtyard. The living room looks down the walk to the Gulf. Kitchen and bedroom look out at Boca Ciega Bay across the street. Our older guests appreciate the ground floor and no steps

Parking:

Due to limited parking, one vehicle per unit (2 vehicles for units #2 and #6). Extra parking is available to the north along the east side of Gulf Blvd. Be sure and park 9’ off the road or the police will issue a ticket.

Check Out 10 AM:

A late check-out needs prior approval. Late check-outs make incur a charge. Please take garbage to trash cans and clean and put away any dirty dishes. You can leave the key in the room & the door unlocked.

Visitors:

Daytime persons using motel facilities will be charged $5 per person per day We are a small property and do not have the resources for more than our registered guests. Please, let us know when you are expecting visitors and have them sign in at the office.

Extra Guests:

Rates are for 1 - 2 persons in Units #1, #3, #4 and #5, 1 - 4 persons in Unit #2 (6 Max)and 1-6 persons in #6 (max 8). Extra adult add $10/day. Extra child add $7/day.

Smoking: All units are non-smoking:

We do have ashtrays you may use when you smoke outside. Please do not smoke in the units. We will need to bill you $100 or more for the special clean up and loss of revenue while the unit is being cleaned.

Cleaning:

Cleaning fees run from $45.00 to $100.00 depending on unit size.

Local (727) calls are free. Long distance blocked: calling cards and 800 numbers do work. If you need a longer cord to run your laptop let us know.

Grills:

Please do not use charcoal or gas grills under the wooden 2nd floor decks per the fire marshall. Move them out into the open.

Refunds:

No refund on early departures. Cancellation refunds are as follows: stays of 8 days or longer, unit must be re-rented in full for refund. 7 days or shorter, a 45 day notice must be given for refund.

Arrival:

When you arrive, please unpack and settle into your room then call the manager at (727) 595-3611 to arrange at time to meet at the office to check you in. Payment and registration are needed upon arrival.

Damages:

Any damages will result in forfeit of security deposit and/or credit card will be charged. Refundable security/damage deposit and extra housekeeping fees may be required on larger parties.
