Island's End Resort has six individual cottages situated on the southern-most tip of St. Pete Beach, in the small community of Pass-A-Grille. Each cottage has a full kitchen, living room with cable tv, internet access, and a private deck. One cottage is a three-bedroom, two-bath house with a swimming pool. Another unit is perfect for just two people, with the bedroom overlooking the sea wall. Four units have a queen-sleeper sofa in addition to a king or queen in the bedroom. Spacious grounds overlook the water where the Intercoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico meet. Guests are invited to use the sunning deck, the swings, our fishing pier, and gas grill. Continental breakfast is served in our gazebos three days a week. Housekeeping can be obtained upon request. There is offstreet parking for each unit. The Gulf beach is a mere 100 paces down the street and historic 8th Avenue with its shops and restaurants is a short walk away. Bicycle rental, fishing gear and tackle can be had at Merry Pier. Area attractions include the Shell Key Shuttle, fishing excursions, kayak or jet ski rental, Fort DeSoto National Park, Tampa Bay Rays baseball, Tampa Bay Buccaneers football, or Tampa Bay Lightning hockey teams. A Saturday morning market flourishes in Downtown St. Petersburg and a Sunday market is held on Corey Avenue, just two miles from Island's End. Flights to the area utilize both the Tampa International and the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airports, just 25 minutes away from the seclusion of the beaches.
