Redington Shores

For day-trippers, a county park providing amenities, including showers and restrooms for visitors, is located at 18200 Gulf Boulevard.

North Redington Beach
Nestled on the pristine beaches of Pinellas County, between the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Boca Ciega Bay, is the friendly, little town of North Redington Beach. It is a small town with an eclectic mixture of single family and multi-family residences fronting on both the Gulf of Mexico and the Intercoastal Waterway.
North Redington Beach has local shops, restaurants, motels and hotels - all in support of enjoyment of almost a mile of beautiful beach, that slopes gently into the Gulf. North Redington Beach is popular with tourists for its wide stretch of sand and upscale beach town feel.
Local shops, restaurants, motels and hotels are convenient to visitors and make living at the beach easy and fun! It has services and amenities of a much larger city - without the crowds. There are six beach accesses on the Gulf side, which are marked for short and easy passage to the beach. The town has two playground areas for children as well as two tennis courts for the use of residents and visitors.
One of the early noteworthy events was the opening of the Tides Bath Club on January 1, 1936, on approximately one-quarter mile of frontage on the Gulf. This was one of the first premier resorts on the Gulf beaches and included numerous amenities. Many notable people stayed there, including Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe during their marriage. The club was demolished in 1996.
Redington Beach
Redington Beach is a great place for that family vacation. Safe and quiet yet close to all that the Tampa Bay area has to offer, Redington Beach deserves to be considered a serious destination for anyone planning a Florida visit.
Redington Beach is primarily a residential community, founded in the mid-20th century. Today it is home to the Tides Beach Club, a 214 unit condominium development that replaced the early Tides Beach Club. This small small beach community - only two square miles - is convenient to shopping, dining, fishing, boating and are attractions. And, it has an unique blend of of restaurants ranging from fast food to the finest in upscale dining as well as some great places to relax with a cold drink.
Redington Beach has 4 town parks, 5 public beach accesses, a causeway with benches for fishing and relaxing, a community recreation area and a children’s playground. It is is bordered by North Redington Beach to the north and Madeira Beach to the south, the Intracoastal Waterway on the east, and the Gulf of Mexico on the west.
